At ISB, we are proud that our quick response has enabled us to continue to offer children a full programme of learning throughout the school’s closure due to Covid 19. We have all strived to support the children and to find a balance between making progress in their academic learning and their emotional wellbeing.

While online learning can never be a substitute for live teaching in the classroom, we are very pleased by the response from our school community: teachers and staff, parents and, most importantly, the children. We are confident that the children will be ready to return to school and join their new classes prepared for their new learning.

Because we have continued to provide this programme of learning, we are not proposing to run a summer school in order to catch up with lost lessons. However, we know that some parents may like to continue to support their children with learning activities for them to complete over the summer. So, please find below suggestions for learning that your child may like to complete. Please note that these are optional - children are not required to complete these. The activities are independently set and self marking. Class teachers have checked that children are able to access their Active Learn accounts (for Bug Club and Abacus) and their Education City accounts and will set some activities for children. Each title below has a hyperlink so you can reach the website directly.

We hope you find this a helpful resource for those of you who would like this support.
